• In 2003, shift in location allowed for an increase in both the inpatient beds and the outpatient clinics and eventually boosted the capacity to serve a wider segment of the population.
• Dar Al Shifa Hospital is 230 bedded accredited facility constitutes of inpatient rooms (Imperial, Royal, Junior and Standard), labour rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, Outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Also, it has well-equipped ancillary services with the latest technologies.

• Over the last few years, DASH has proved itself as a trustworthy organization in which patient/family-centred care is provided through a competent and diverse team of health care professionals utilizing the latest technology and applying evidence-based practices. Another significant achievement of DASH is attaining recognized international accreditation and awards from Accreditation Canada and the American College of Radiology. Also has been the first in the country to attain of HIMSS 7 certification for inpatient and outpatient setting.

Registrar - Dental 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• /Performance Standards Ensures implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical
• Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Department Policy and Guidelines
• Diagnosis and treatment of patients referred to department and responsible to run his/her own clinic.
•  Responsible to provide the highest quality of service to the patients under his/her care within the resources provided by the program
•  Examine, diagnose and treat diseases, abnormalities, injuries and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structures

Receptionist    

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards

• Greets patient & visitors, initiate registration process, and provides routine information about his / her working area when necessary.
• Handles phone enquiries from patients and others and communicating through emails.
• Reviews patients registration data for cash and insurance patients
• Counsels patients and families regarding financial issues such as insurance, eligibility for assistance and verifies insurance coverage with insurance companies.
• Records patient billing codes and obtains signatures forms.
• Responds as appropriate to enquiries from patients and coordinates the resolution of related problems.
• Notifying direct supervisor about the presence of distinguished people or from royal family to give special care in their visit.
• Give information and marketing of new services while interacting with patients.
• Clear explanation of invoices, OPD follow up and patient share for insurance cases.
• Handling of patient concerns and raise to direct supervisor for further actions.
• Review doctor’s schedule and clinic arrangement for accurately directing patients.

Legal Assistant   

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards

• Follow up on Law Suits filed by or against Dar Al Shifa Hospital Company.
• Follow up of law firms contracting with Dar Al Shifa Hospital Company.
• Ensure that files of Law Suits filed by or against Dar Al Shifa Hospital Company are complete and up-to-date.
• Update the legal department files and keep the required documents.
• Assisting the Legal Director in drafting and reviewing contracts entered into by Dar Al Shifa Hospital Company with suppliers.

• Assisting the Legal Director in searching for the correct legal opinion for all issues presented to the legal department.
• Ensure that law firms contracting with Dar Al Shifa Hospital Company attend all cases brought by or against Dar Al Shifa Hospital Company
• Assists in the preparation of legal report/ advice on a wide range of hospital related issues like investigations / penalties against employees.
• Takes assignments and provides needed reports to the Legal Director.
• Continues review of all the laws, regulations & resolutions issued by concerned official parties for the hospital, review and prepare a report on them to the Legal Director.
• Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.

Senior Specialist - Cardiology Interventional 

Purpose and Scope of the Job

• Responsible for patients with medical problems generally considered to fall his/her specialty. Consultant will maintain compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of Hospital, Ministry of Health standards for the Department; He/ She will also plan, direct,
•  administer and supervise activities for Cardiology & Internal Medicine patients. Reports to the Medical Director on matters relating to the operation of the patient care division through  the Head of Department
