Job Opening in Petrochemical Company - Maintenance Planner

We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Planner.

Description:

The Maintenance Field Planner is a person experienced in maintenance who has the skills and knowledge to create a job package from the work order scope. The package contains all information about required labor, material, and services to ensure safe, effective, and efficient execution of the work.

Responsibilities:

• Uses “quality feedback” from the person doing the work to optimize archived plans.

• Reviews work orders for technical completeness and returns work orders to PAC/gatekeeper if incomplete.

• Uses archived plans or templates when possible for the actual plan.

• Carries out field checks when needed.

• Prepares job package and inputs plan into SAP, indicating the required resources, materials, and services.

• Identifies task activities necessary to execute the job plan.

• Identifies materials/tools/equipment required to perform tasks.

• Solicits safety information and requirements necessary to perform tasks safely.

• Records tasks/information within the work order.

• Notifies other crafts of their requirement to provide input to the job plan.

• Archives repetitive job plans.

• Considers constructability and maintainability when developing plans.

• Considers material costs when selecting materials from specifications.

• Utilizes the most effective technology where applicable.

Minimum Education: Diploma holder in a Technical Field
