We’re Hiring: Planning & Cost Control Officer

Location: Kuwait

Are you passionate about optimizing budgets, analyzing data, and driving cost-efficient strategies across diverse operations? We are currently seeking a Planning & Cost Control Officer to work closely with the CEO and contribute to strategic financial decision-making that enhances operational efficiency and sustainability. This position is open to candidates currently residing in Kuwait or those located abroad who are looking for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed planning and budgeting frameworks across projects and departments

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, operational budgets, and capital expenditure forecasts

• Monitor actual costs vs. planned budgets, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations

• Consolidate financial and operational data by coordinating with factory, project, and department heads

• Conduct productivity and cost-efficiency analyses across all business units

• Identify financial risks and propose preventive cost control strategies

• Create regular financial dashboards and reports for executive-level review

• Support procurement by analyzing supplier pricing and its impact on overall budgets

• Assist in contract and claims management by supplying precise cost records and documentation

• Promote financial discipline and cost awareness throughout the organization

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost control

• Solid understanding of aluminium industry operations or related manufacturing processes is a strong plus

• Familiarity with project lifecycle cost structures and factory-based financial systems

• Skilled in using planning and financial software/tools

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure interdepartmental coordination

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Capable of presenting strategies and reports directly to senior leadership

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable
