Clinical Main Receptionist/ Operator- Kuwaiti Nationals
Responsibilities
- Ensure all assigned clinics appointments are confirmed, filling the empty slots, and checking the required clinical procedures.
- Audit the clinical preparation process for the assigned clinics.
- Check-in patients as soon as shown in the clinic reception and performing the cashiering tasks and the insurance claims according to DDI policies and procedures.
- Investigate the no-show’s patients on daily basis and prepare the no show report for the assigned clinics.
- Undertake patient consultations and physical examinations, assessment and plan treatment requirements through clinics at a minimum of 4-5 time per week including evening clinic.
- Conduct CPET and provide consultation for patients through weekly clinics
- Liaise with other doctors, healthcare professionals and non-medical staff to administer effective treatment of diabetes in the context of clinical care and research
- Write detailed patient reports and records; ensure accuracy and up to date status of records, medical reports, discharge summaries and all required
- Participate and lend expertise, advice in working groups/committees that contribute to the DDI mission, vision and values
- Ensure confidentiality of patient data obtained through clinics and research studies
- Develop policies & procedures for clinical care and clinical research unit
- Develop leaflets, patient’s awareness materials and promotions
- Performs all other relevant duties as assigned
- Prior published research in the forms of articles and conference or other outputs
- Excellent communication skills including presentation skills
- Commitment to excellence in research and within professional and ethical code of conduct
- Ability to work independently as well as part of collaborative teams
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English
- BSc in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Licensed as a pharmacist in Kuwait
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting with direct patient contact
- Proficient in Arabic and English
- Special interest and experience in diabetes is preferred
- Experience in providing education and training is preferred
- Abide by standards of care and practice and using own initiative, act independently within the bounds of existing knowledge and skills, maintaining nursing professional code of ethics.
- Day to day supervision/management and coordination of staff as appropriate. Provide and participate in clinical and peer supervision.
- Deputise for Nurse Manager in their absence or when requested.
- Contributes to implementation and reporting of nursing practices in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) and DDI policies and procedures, as well as National and International Standards of Care.
- Adhere to, implement and contribute to development of policies, procedures, standards and protocols of the clinical area to ensure that working practice is underpinned by current best clinical practice evidence.
- Active in the delivery of initiatives to maintain Nursing Quality Improvement targets and sets performance improvement plans to achieve desired outcomes in line with the institutional strategic goals in coordination with the Nursing Manager.
- Contribute to Nursing personal and professional development activities, competencies, educational and research programs, staff appraisal and other functions as assigned by the Nursing Manager.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diabetic Podiatrist

- Adhere to lab safety and quality control measures
- Ability to use Laboratory Information System
- Verifies the electronic test ordered in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and proper labeling of samples with the generated barcodes
- Carry out lab reception work, send out samples, and assist in placing reagents and supplies request and arranging the received items
