Lead Security Innovation as a Security Commissioning Engineer in Kuwait's Oil & Gas Sector

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas sector security commissioning

• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred

• Expertise with major security systems brands (Honeywell, Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, Senstar, FFT, Avigilon)

• Knowledge of SCADA, DCS, and fire & gas system integrations

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Relevant certifications (Lenel, Milestone VMS, vendor-specific)

• Familiarity with IEC, NFPA, API standards

• Valid Kuwait driving license

• Willingness to travel to remote and demanding project sites

Responsibilities

• Commission and configure integrated electronic security systems on oil & gas sites (onshore/offshore)

• Conduct FAT/SAT testing ensuring system reliability and compliance with HSE and cybersecurity guidelines

• Collaborate with engineering, HSE, and operations teams for smooth security system integration

• Provide technical support throughout project phases from installation to handover

• Prepare detailed commissioning documentation including test reports and redline drawings

• Train end-users, control room operators, and security staff on system usage

• Keep updated with latest security technology trends and compliance requirements
