Medical Representative
What You'll Do
- Promote the company’s products to healthcare professionals to educate them on the value that our products bring to the patients/customers in Kuwait.
- Effectively use tools and resources (SFA/SFE), to ensure achieving the planned coverage, frequency and call rate for the assigned customers’ list.
- Understand customers’ needs and requirements and effectively communicate product benefits and address customer concerns.
- Ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in the assigned territory.
- Identify new opportunities and gain new business while maintaining the existing business.
- Establish and develop relations with key personnel in all accounts in the assigned territory.
- Provide reports to supervisor regarding territory status, to include forecasts, proposals and business reviews.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- Ensure mastery of Product knowledge related to the company’s products as well as the competitive products that are available in the market.
- Carry out effective sales calls, targeting high sales hospitals for maximum efficiency. Maintain a daily track record of the sales calls.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.
- Ensure compliance with all the company’s policies and codes.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational qualification inpharmaceutical/medicalscience.
- 1-2 years of experience inpharmaceutical salesin Kuwait.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Valid Residency visa in Kuwait

Tender Key Account Manager
What You’ll Do
- Track and monitor performance for all products in the portfolio and consolidate data prepare regional report e.g. monthly consumption, forecasted orders, phasing of orders, stocks etc.
- Analyze performance for all products in the portfolio and identify growth opportunities and achieve optimal and accurate forecast for order’s phasing in accounts
- Attain optimal stock management and ensure availability of promoted products with minimum expiries
- Initiate, develop and implement tactical plans for scaling up products penetration in coordination with the sales, market access and medico-marketing teams and ensure products’ availability to all potential prescribers, hospitals and PHCs

- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders in all accounts at area level i.e. purchasing committee members, pharmacists, finance department, supply department, hospital store managers to position Abbott as a strategic partner
- Gather market intelligence data to assess impact on Abbott operations and suggest timely action plan
- Oversee the account’s ordering cycle for all portfolio products for local purchasing and tenders to ensure optimal market penetration
- Assess and mitigate risks on business in terms of price cuts, competitors’ threat and alternative source of supply
- Building annual tender calendar to enable proactive preparation for all tender bids
- Advise on price and strategy in account to maintain and grow business for all products in the portfolio
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate product and environment knowledge and develop understanding on internal sales systems and procedures
- Support pre-launch and launch activities of new products as and when needed
- Execute business related actions in line with the industry code of ethics and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Min 4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Kuwait region experience and pharma industry experience is mandatory
