Cost and Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 for oil and gas infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project milestones, track progress, and update schedules in coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports, forecasts, and cash flows in line with project budgets.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Support tendering activities by developing planning and cost estimates.
• Interface with project management, contractors, and finance to ensure cost and planning objectives are met
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company cost control procedures and contractual obligations.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and cost control within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Excel (advanced), and cost control software (e.g., SAP, EcoSys).
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas project lifecycles and cost structures.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and remote project locations if required.
