- Today, Kuwait Steel is composed of two rolling mill plants with a combined annual production capacity of 1.4 million metric tons and a steel making plant that produces 1.2 million metric tons per year. All steel plants are running full production capacities, catering to market demand.

Project Engineer (Mechanical)
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Evaluate internal project requests from Kuwait Steel clients (SMP, RM1, RM2, LDP and Yard 2) to determine the scope of work, the project’s feasibility and resource requirements.
- Manage and develop the scope of work phase after project feasibility has been confirmed and the job request converted to a service request to external contractors.
- Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical engineering designs for requested projects, considering functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Specify the materials, equipment and components required for the project implementation, considering factors as quality, durability and compatibility with existing systems.
- Written approval of project scope of work by the internal end user before conducting the request for quotation (RFQ) phase from the market for mechanical engineering projects.
- Manage the RFQ project phase for all mechanical engineering projects as per the P&E and FM Department policies.

Heavy Vehicle Operator
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Look after general safety and housekeeping.
- The employee shall preserve with utmost care the good working condition of all company property within and outside of his area.
- Report any incident happened during each shift.
- Feeding sufficient quantity of materials each shift.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, reporting any abnormality or requirement for maintenance repair.
- Perform daily cleaning of the vehicle after use or as required.
- Ensure the heavy vehicle is safely and securely stored after use.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as Heavy Vehicle Operator in Steel Melting Plant
- Has experience operating loader, excavator, bobcat, skid loader, forklift, etc.
- Technical Diploma or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- تأسست شركة الصلب المتحدة الصناعية (صلب الكويت) في عام 1996 من قبل مستثمرين كويتيين. وفي السنوات الأربع التالية، قامت شركة الصلب الكويتية بالتعاون مع شركة VOEST Alpine النمساوية بإنشاء أول مصنع درفلة آلي بالكامل في الكويت.
- تم بناء مصنع الدرفلة الأول على مساحة 40 ألف متر مربع، وتبلغ الطاقة الإنتاجية السنوية 750 ألف طن متري من قضبان الصلب المقوى بأحجام تتراوح بين 8 ملم إلى 40 ملم في القطر.
