Tendering Engineer/Admin

Job Summary

• The Tendering Engineer/Admin is responsible for supporting the tendering process by ensuring the timely and accurate preparation, coordination, and submission of tender documents in line with specified requirements. Duties include reviewing tender invitations, organizing bid documentation, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, maintaining records and ensuring compliance with relevant deadlines and procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a solid understanding of tendering workflows and documentation to support effective and competitive bid submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tendering, preferably within the construction or contracting industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and familiar with tendering platforms
• Strong understanding of local tendering procedures, documentation standards and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational, communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
• Must have valid transferrable residency in Kuwait

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end tendering process, from reviewing invitations to compiling and submitting bid documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., estimation, planning, procurement, legal, human resource) to gather required information for tender submissions.
• Ensure all tender documents are complete, accurate and submitted in accordance with client requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of all tender submissions, clarifications and correspondence.
• Monitor tender portals and other sources for new opportunities and updates.
• Assist in the preparation of pre-qualification and compliance documentation.
• Communicate with clients, consultants and external parties regarding tender requirements and clarifications.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and industry standards throughout the tendering process.
