The curriculum is designed to prepare students for practical careers while integrating their studies within a strong liberal arts foundation.

Successful candidates are expected to teach courses in English for academic studies, English composition, research methods, technical writing, and writing for the discipline. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. A key component of this position is teaching and mentoring the incoming cohort from multiple program areas (engineering, business, medicine, and computing studies). Additionally, faculty members are also expected to work closely and maintain continuous affiliation with relevant research centers at AASU.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social studies, Arabic, or Education with a concentration in Arabic and a GPA of very good or equivalent.
• Ph.D. in social studies, Arabic, or Education from a reputable university.
• Applicants should have a distinguished teaching record, including experience teaching at an academic institution.
• Applicants must have a proven track record of research, including high-quality publications in the relevant field in refereed journals: at least 3 for assistant professors, 7 for associate professors, and 15 for full professors.
• Recent publications must be in the field of the program the applicants are applying for.
• Applicants must have a strong record of mentoring and advising students and supervising other student-related activities.
• It is preferable that applicants possess previous experience in administrative, academic, or executive committees at the program, college, or university levels.
• Applicants must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exceptional organizational skills, leadership skills in a multicultural and international environment with the ability to pursue and foster collaboration.
• All applicants' degrees must be listed in the National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance (NBAQ) or approved by AASU.
• High level of professionalism and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and overtime when needed and adapt to changing priorities and environments, as well as a willingness to continue learning.

خلفية

جامعة عبد الله السالم (AASU) هي جامعة تم تمويلها من قبل الحكومة تم إنشاؤها حديثًا في الكويت حيث لغة التدريس هي اللغة الإنجليزية.

تسعى جامعة ولاية أريزونا إلى توظيف مدرسين موهوبين بدوام كامل للانضمام إلى الفريق الديناميكي والسريع التوسع والمساهمة في التطوير المستمر لجامعة عبدالله السالم كمؤسسة عالمية المستوى تجذب الطلاب ذوي الجودة العالية وتوفر لهم تجربة تعليمية ممتازة. تقبل الجامعة طلبات لشغل هذه الوظائف لفصل الخريف والربيع من عام 2025/2026.

التوقعات والواجبات والمسؤوليات الأساسية

سيكون المدربون في الكلية مسؤولين عن:

· تدريس المقررات الدراسية حسب التكليف وحسب الضرورة.

· تدريس المقررات الدراسية في أوقات وأماكن مختلفة استجابة لاحتياجات المؤسسة.

· تطوير ومراجعة جميع الجوانب المتعلقة بالمقررات الدراسية بطريقة تلبي جميع معايير المناهج الدراسية الموحدة، وتكون ذات صلة باحتياجات الطلاب، ومرتبطة برسالة ورؤية AASU.

· العمل بشكل تعاوني مع مدير البرنامج والمدير المساعد له لضمان تنفيذ الخطة الاستراتيجية ومراقبة التقدم نحو هذه الأهداف الأكاديمية.

· المشاركة في اجتماعات الموظفين وأعضاء هيئة التدريس المنتظمة.

· إعداد التقارير وكذلك تقارير الاعتماد السنوية.

· إعداد البيانات حول تقدم الطلاب وردود الفعل، وتقدم الطلاب وملاءمة البرنامج.

· الإشراف على وضع واختبار وتقييم جميع الطلاب.

· تحديد اللوازم والكتب المدرسية والمواد اللازمة للفصول الدراسية.

· أداء واجبات أخرى حسب الضرورة أو التكليف.

· المشاركة في تقييم ووضع الطلاب الجدد.

· المشاركة في التطوير المهني.

· المشاركة في الأنشطة المطلوبة للحفاظ على معايير اعتماد البرنامج والكلية.

· تعلم وتطبيق التقنيات التي تدعم تعلم الطلاب.

• منسقو مركز تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية (الدور الفني/الإداري)
• منسقو مركز تعلم الرياضيات (الدور الفني/الإداري)
• كلية الهندسة والطاقة (إعارة كاملة لغرض التعيين) – للمواطنين الكويتيين فقط
• كلية الحاسبات والنظم (إعارة كاملة لغرض التعيين) – للمواطنين الكويتيين فقط
• كلية إدارة الأعمال وريادة الأعمال (إعارة كاملة لغرض التعيين) – للمواطنين الكويتيين فقط
• كلية الدراسات التكاملية (إعارة كاملة لغرض التعيين) – الرياضيات والفيزياء والكيمياء والأحياء – للمواطنين الكويتيين فقط
• هيئة التدريس - كلية الصحة والطب (دكتوراه في الطب) - أعضاء هيئة التدريس المنتظمين والزائرين
• هيئة التدريس - كلية الصحة والطب (العلوم الأساسية) - أعضاء هيئة التدريس الدائمين والزائرين
