🥂 F&B SERVICE POSITIONS

🔹 Outside Catering Manager

  • Responsible for managing all off-site catering operations, this role demands strong logistical coordination, client relations, and leadership. 
  • The manager ensures high service standards are upheld, whether for large-scale events or intimate gatherings. 
  • They oversee event planning, staffing, and inventory, ensuring seamless experiences for every client. 
  • Working closely with culinary and service teams, they deliver exceptional food and service to match Grand Hyatt’s reputation
  • . Budget control, vendor negotiation, and marketing support are also essential. This is a highly visible, dynamic role suited for professionals with experience in event catering or banquet operations.

🔹 Assistant Manager – Events

  • This position assists in the execution of all internal and external events. 
  • From corporate conferences to private weddings, the Assistant Manager ensures smooth planning, client satisfaction, and service quality. 
  • They work under the Events Manager, coordinating with F&B, housekeeping, and AV teams.
  •  The role involves budgeting, time management, and detailed event setup supervision. 
  • A customer-centric attitude, high energy, and organizational excellence are key traits for this role.
  •  Ideal for individuals looking to grow in luxury event management.

🔹 Assistant Outlet Manager

  • Supports the Outlet Manager in daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant or café. 
  • Responsibilities include team supervision, guest service excellence, and staff scheduling.
  •  Ensures smooth service during peak hours while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. 
  • The assistant also participates in training, inventory checks, and guest feedback resolution.
  •  A great opportunity for those with restaurant or lounge supervisory experience seeking growth in hotel F&B.

🔹 Team Leader – Events

  • Leads a team of servers and coordinators for both in-house and external events.
  •  Handles staff briefings, table setup inspections, and ensures flawless service execution.
  •  Works closely with chefs and event planners to align on themes and logistics.
  •  Must be detail-oriented, agile, and a natural leader. 
  • This position offers great exposure to luxury service standards.

🔹 Team Leader – Outside Catering

  • Responsible for managing teams during external catering functions. 
  • Ensures timely setup, quality service, and smooth coordination between logistics and service staff. 
  • Requires hands-on leadership, communication skills, and problem-solving under pressure. 
  • A vital role that bridges client experience and operational delivery.

🔹 Waitress

  • Provides courteous, efficient food and beverage service to guests. 
  • Takes orders, suggests specials, and maintains table cleanliness. 
  • Works with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure prompt service.
  •  Must be attentive, professional, and have strong communication skills. 
  • Ideal for those passionate about guest interaction.

🛠️ ENGINEERING

🔹 Assistant Engineering Manager

  • Supports the Engineering Manager in overseeing building maintenance and systems operations. In charge of preventive maintenance, energy saving, and responding to emergencies. 
  • Works with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and civil teams. 
  • Ensures compliance with safety codes and sustainability standards.
  •  A technical role for those with hotel or facility engineering experience.
  •  Leadership and troubleshooting skills are essential.

🛏️ ROOMS DIVISION

🔹 Front Office Manager

  • Manages front desk, concierge, and guest service teams. 
  • Ensures smooth check-ins/check-outs, resolves guest issues, and maintains brand service standards. 
  • A front-line leadership position demanding charisma, hospitality expertise, and team motivation. 
  • Also handles VIP services, upselling strategies, and daily operations reporting.

🔹 Guest Relations Manager

  • Acts as the hotel’s ambassador for personalized service. 
  • Greets VIPs, handles complaints, and ensures memorable stays. 
  • Works closely with front office and housekeeping to deliver seamless service. 
  • An excellent role for professionals with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

🔹 Residences Manager

  • Oversees operations of the hotel-managed residences. 
  • Ensures that long-stay guests receive consistent, high-quality service. 
  • Manages housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services tailored for residential needs. 
  • A hybrid role between property management and hospitality.

🔹 Guest Service Officer

  • Provides direct assistance to guests at the front desk, via phone, or during service requests. Handles check-in/out, room changes, and general inquiries.
  •  Must have a polished demeanor, clear communication skills, and knowledge of hotel systems.

🔹 Spa Receptionist

  • Welcomes spa guests, manages bookings, and provides information on spa services. 
  • Maintains a serene and professional environment. 
  • Works with therapists to optimize schedules and guest flow.
  •  Ideal for those with wellness industry experience.
