Buyer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop Category Strategy with senior buyer to achieve Sales/Profitability targets, and maximize market share of assigned category
• Develop assortment frequently including Brands, Products & Agencies to ensure freshness and improve profitability
• Regular planogram updates with merchandising team to cover effective display principles and ensure sell out of phase out / display inventory
• Train, coach & develop team members to deliver in line with business requirements and for their personal growth
• Implement promo strategy through direct team & support functions to ensure business objectives are met; review effectiveness of promotion activity and update team
• Develop advertising & marketing strategy; implement through marketing; review effectiveness of all activities and update category head / team
• Manage Order & Replenishment process through team ensuring an optimal inventory, availability and aged are in control
• Develop strategy + support new Product Development process & Sourcing for Own Brands
• Review & analyze market trends, daily marketing review of core competition to ensure competitiveness in assortment and pricing
• Work with service & support teams constantly to improve business processes and increase customer satisfaction

Showroom Manager

Key Responsibilities 

• Manages and leads staff for achieving location targets.
• Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations.
• Trains staff on store policies, department procedures, and job duties.
• Orders merchandise and supplies or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.
• Records delivery of merchandise compares record with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels.
• Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed.
• Recommends additions to or deletions of merchandise to be sold in store.
• Prepares and monitors sales, inventory and customer complaints reports.
• Listens and answers customer’s complaints and inquires. Examines returned merchandise, and amicably resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations.
• Assists sales staff in completing difficult sales (sell merchandise).
• Plans and directs staff preparing, merchandise and promotion displays.
• Supervises employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily record of transactions, or performs work of subordinates, as needed.

Sales Associate - Retail Furniture & Home Furnishing

Job Responsibilities

Sales

• Promotes products and services to customers
• Maximizes sales transactions to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strives to achieve pre-set sales targets in cash, credit, warranties and accessories
• Seeks to improve and enhance his/her level of product knowledge
• Ensuring sales opportunities are constantly converted to sales transactions
• Creating sales invoices and mastering BO & POS applications.
