Restaurant Hostess

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and maintain the seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu and restaurant services.
• Coordinate with the waitstaff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Assist in training new host staff and provide guidance on best practices.
• Monitor dining room activity and adjust seating arrangements as necessary.
• Promote special events and menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction.

Preferred Candidate:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in using reservation management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Team player with a collaborative spirit.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
