Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

• A professional Accountant and Financial Auditor with over 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. 
• Known for precision, deep analytical skills, and the ability to improve financial efficiency through systems development and process controls.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Record Keeping and Financial Transactions:

•  Accurately record daily financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
•  Classify financial operations into appropriate accounts for expenses, revenues, assets, and liabilities.
•  Manage accounts payable and receivable, track due dates, and ensure timely collection or payment.
•  Prepare adjusting and reversing journal entries and ensure account balances are accurate.

2- Financial Reporting and Analysis:

•  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
•  Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures and provide actionable recommendations.
•  Prepare cash flow reports and liquidity analyses for accurate financial insight.
•  Support external audits by providing required documentation and reports.

3- Internal Controls and Compliance:

•  Develop and update internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
